Multimedia Technology Center
A Component of The Department of Information Technology and Marketing

The Multimedia Technology Center is a learning and resource center dedicated to providing professional learning experiences to graduate and undergraduate students in the J. Whitney Bunting School of Business. These experiences are made available through consulting and instructional services from a professionally qualified multimedia specialist using a laboratory equipped with hardware and software customized for web development and multimedia applications. The Center also provides a variety of multimedia web-based support and development services to the J. Whitney Bunting School of Business, to local businesses and government agencies, and regional organizations in the central Georgia area.

 

The mission of the Center is accomplished by:

1. Providing employment, training and supervision of grduate assistants.

2. Sponsoring undergraduate internships.

3. Keeping current on latest multimedia product developments and emerging technologies.

4. Providing multimedia and web-based instructional services to the University community.

5. Providing professional desktop publishing, web development and hosting services to local and regional businesses, organizations, and government agencies.
