Dr. Ben Scafidi spoke to a Georgia Public Policy Foundation leadership breakfast on Friday, July 31, at the Georgian Club in Marietta. The event attended by 60 elected officials and representatives from the business community, celebrated the birthday of Milton Friedman, Nobel laureate and author of two bestselling books on political and economic freedom. Friedman chose to devote his entire fortune to the promotion of school choice. Scafidi's presentation, “Milton Friedman and the Legacy He Chose” discussed Friedman's ideas and why school choice is needed in Georgia today.
