As the state's designated public liberal arts
university, Georgia College & State University is committed to combining the
educational experiences typical of esteemed private liberal arts colleges with
the affordability of public higher education. GC&SU is a residential learning
community that emphasizes undergraduate education and offers selected graduate
programs. The faculty are dedicated to challenging students and fostering
excellence in the classroom and beyond. GC&SU seeks to endow its graduates with
a passion for achievement, a lifelong curiosity, and exuberance for learning.
Throughout my tenure as a university professor I have implemented a non-traditional approach to teaching. My passion for teaching has evolved from my experiences as an athlete, practitioner, and coach. My journey has included guiding pre-pubescent and high school individuals, collegiate athletes, Olympic Gold Medalists, and World Record holders to strive for excellence in their respective interests.
