Dr. Ronald Fietkau

Information about me:

In 1986 I received my Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (with emphasis on atomic spectroscopy) from Kansas State University which is located in Manhattan (the little apple), Kansas.

In 1981 received my B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University which is located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Burnaby is a suburb of Vancouver.

My home town is Port Coquitlam, B.C., Canada. I graduated in 1976 from Port Coquitlam Senior Secondary High School (now called Terry Fox Senior Secondary High School). My high school chemistry teacher was Mr. Bond (yes, that's his name).  My days in his class are the ones I seem to remember most from high school (he had the nickname Mr. Analogy). For Canadians reading this, yes, Terry Fox and I knew each other. We played on the same soccer team for four years (he was always a competitive athlete) and graduated from POCO High the same year. I saw him only occasionally during our first year at SFU.
